I immediately thought of the fun hand dies I have from Ellen Hutson (and have only used once in a year!)
I die cut the hands and colored them with a Flesh Copic, curved the fingers and thumb in a bit so it looks like the hands are holding the heart as in my inspiration, and layered them over a panel of DP putting thick foam dots just behind the thumbs to keep them lifted after mailing! I adhered the glittery heart sticker and the Metallic Sticker.
The card base is cut out of watercolor paper using Noted: Scalloped Square Die from PTI.

Lovely valentine based on your inspiration, Julia. I'm fond of the "heart in hand" motif....has a ring of folk art to me....so I'm partial to your design for sure. A delightful and charming card.
