One of my coworkers is going to be a grandmother any day now. It is supposed to be a boy. I needed a card for when we go back to work on Monday and had been putting it off because I had no idea what to do. Then last night I was browsing the gallery and saw all the tone on tone cards when inspiration struck. I did second generation stamping on the baby booties so it would not be dark. I wanted a little more contrast so I colored in parts with a white colored pencil. I am entering this card into the following challenges.

Your brain, mind and heart certainly had a super bolt of creativity!! She will be thrilled. Reminds me of some of the older baby cards, like mid century, which I love.

This is just perfect - the bit of white pencil gives all those booties even more definition while keeping them soft looking. The scalloped frame is so pretty. Your co-worker will be thrilled to get recognized as a new grandma!
