This is my card for the Teaparty Tickle for December.
This card has taken me three days to make. Weather conditions here are not too flash at the moment - so very little time is being spent on concentrating on craftty things. Horrid smokey days and the heat has been turned up today - it will be around 42c later this afternoon with catastrophic fire conditions to accompany the heat. Just a case of watching the TV and keeping up to date with conditions.
This is a simple card - just a stamped image - no easel card for me at the moment - that would need too much concentration. Just an image with an easel in it.
Stamped and coloured the image with water colour pencils. I fussy cut two extra paint brushes to add to the finished card.
The colours are more of a greenish blue with a touch of yellow in the water colour panel but I am not in the mood to argue with the computer today.
Hope you enjoy.

Helen, so sorry for everyone in Australia dealing with the horrendous heat and wildfires! I'm amazed you were able to create this beautiful card. Praying things cool down and the fires get contained. I just can't imagine all the people who've lost their homes and all the wildlife that have lost their lives to the wildfires. So sad! Thinking of you!

Beautifully coloured, as always, Helen, a lovely image! It is unbelievable here this Summer, isn’t it? Currently 43 degrees here. I hope you are away from bush where you live. I believe the smoke in Canberra has been horrendous, such as we had here before Christmas. Take care~

I'm sure it's hard to be creative in that heat even without the stress of the fires. But this is perfect for the challenge, you couldn't have had a more suitable image. The tubes of paint remind me of the time I worked for the company that distributed Winsor & Newton here. But we never had a fun red easel like that one, just plain old wood. I like that we can see the view through the window as well as emerging on the canvas.
