I colored the flowers using sponge daubers - just slip them on your finger, tap in an ink pad, then lightly swirl in a circular motion on the flower. It's best to start light so you can add more color gradually - I put too much Poppy Parade in the centers (hence, the gold faceted gems)!
I inked up the raised side of the Coastal Weave embossing folder with Soft Suede ink, then placed my cardstock on it and lightly tapped it with my fingers. I loved how the ink partially transferred!

Spring has sprung...what a cheerful, warm color palette. Love your too Poppy flowers...I like the way they turned out with the excuse to pop on those lovely gold gems! Great choice of patterned paper to coordinate with your inked embossing background.
