I really loved the simple concept of this week's sketch challenge and used it to make a fun card to send to my girlfriend. I started by ink blending the sky in blue and accentuating the snowdrifts with lavender. Next I die cut the bottom snowdrift and added some puffy clouds in the sky.
The bears were colored with Copic markers then fussy cut before mounting onto the panel. After the panel was adhered to the card base, I felt I'd left too much space below the panel, so I used a snowflake cover die to cut some snowflakes to add to the bottom and onto the mail panel. Finally I used a shimmer pen to add sparkle to the bear's scarves.
