For Anna's fun Tea or Coffee MIXed media challenge. I peeked at the challenge when I was awake early in the morning, and had time to plan this out...the only thing that didn't work was using tea dye dox as one of my colours, it didn't show on the kraft.
Background is Newton's Nook plaid stencil on kraft with ground espresso and pumice stone DOX. I stuck some burlap ribbon across it after edging it with a black Sharpie.
Stamped my main image on watercolour paper and embossed with clear EP. Enervy is coloured almost entirely with coffee, except for a touch of pink on his muzzle and in his ears. Inktense pencils and a silver gel pen for the rest, with Glossy Accents on the mug.
I added some buttons for interest, and a sentiment stamped and embossed in white, cut with the SU word bubbles and popped up on foam.

That background you created looks so cool, Sabrina! The buttons are a nice addition on the burlap. Your square card looks great. I love the smell of coffee and now I shall be taking the time, lol.

Such a cute card. Your doggo looks like I feel on too many shots of espresso. Love the elements that set off the image, plaid background, burlap (or knit) ribbon and the buttons, just great.

OMGosh, if only my DIL were a coffee drinker...she LOVES chihuahuas and of course has one of her own! Maybe it would be good for my son, though, as he is an avid drinker! This card bring a smile to my face of great enjoyment and your coffee painting is delightful!
