The current Ways to Use it Challenge, WT722 - Knit Wit - (12/26/19) - was to use something knitting related on a card.
I chose SU Cable Knit emboss folder for the knitting related detail on this winter anniversary card for my sis & bro in law. The embossed knit panel made for a fun texture in back of the intricate snowflake die cut and also for the diecut sentiment that spanned the bottom.
I kept this card super simple, using a metallic silver watercolor pencil to add sparkly grey to the bears attire, also added Nuvo clear glitter brush pen to kick it up a notch. The silver cardstock is SU Galvantized Metal, which has a not-super-shiny pewter look in real life (this was a challenge to photograph!)
My dear in-laws were married in December and their wedding transportation was my brother-in-laws lovingly restored vintage Ford coupe, named Pinky...of course, as the name implies, Pinky is VERY pink! The intricate pink snowflake diecut is in honor of Pinky, and the important role she played in the wedding procession.
Thanks for popping by and looking at my winter knit-themed anniversary card.
Warmest winter wishes to you, Pinky-style!

Very elegant and cosy at the same time, no mean feat to pull off! The silver and pink is a lovely combination, and the knit emboss pattern suggests the snug warmth of that scarf.

Love this, Susy! The snowflake die is a wonderful background die for those adorable bears, wrapped in the snuggly, warm scarf. The e.f of course is perfect for this. I love the sentiment die and the way you have used it here!
