Karen is the dearest woman! So kind, so helpful, encouraging and caring and fun loving too. In short, Karen is a dear and a wonderful SCS friend to me.
This is going out to cheer her on in her journey ahead.
I stamped the deer 1st in crumb cake, then baked brown sugar and then creamy caramel.
For Karen: He makes my feet, like the feet of a deer, and sets me securely on the heights. Ps.18:33

This is sweet...simple yet your sentiment says it all. I like the verse you choose, too. I’m sure she’ll be comforted by all the wonderful cards she’ll be receiving.

Shirl, what a lovely CAS design, and super sponging. I absolutely love your choice of Scripture to put inside, to go with the deer. It makes me think of the time we saw a chamoix running across the snow on a volcanic mountain range in France.

This leaves me shaking my head in awe. Beautiful, everything about this card is sigh-worthy!
First off, love the way you sponged the various shades of pink to create the perfect halo around the deer - stunning effect.
And thank you for explaining how you got the deer to look like it does. Never would have occured to me to over-stamp the image with 3 different shades of brown. Love how this looks!
Popping this into my Favs and my super-secret CASE file for inspiration. Beautiful card! TFS
