My first attempt at a shaker and I think it turned out well given the supplies I had to make it (a ziplock bag taped together, still surprised it worked). Iâm sure there are better ways and tools to make one and the next time will be easier!
As per my usual, the Misti was used for any and all things stamped, as well as a bonus hard surface because I usually work on the floor.
The scene in the background was made using a sponge tool and three inks: SU Marina Mist, SU Soft Sky, and Brilliance Platinum Planet. I also used Wink of Stella to make everything snow more sparkly, not that it shows well in the picture. I love making things sparkly or glittery ^-^ !
I wanted to do an ornament and I really wanted to try a shaker for snowy feel. And it only took me half an afternoon instead of a week like usual!
Supplies used:
-Stampin Up ink in Marina Mist and Soft Sky
-Brilliance ink in Platinum Planet
-Memento ink in Tuxedo Black
-Cardstock in white and dark brown
-Wink of Stella brush pen
-Copic markers for coloring (B32, Y17, YR04, Y21,and 0)
-Silver gel pen
-Stampin Up Hearth and Home framelits
-Recollections clear stamps Winter Wonderland
-Lawn Fawn Arctic Friends (I think. I used it for the hat)
-Assorted glitters used in shaker (A combo of 6, mostly iridescent but a little holo)
-Heart shaped silver rhinestones
