For Dina's Blue Christmas MIXed media challenge. I tried to get as close as I could to the Pantone blue mixing some acrylics, but I'm not sure how close I got. I used them on a die-cut embossed SU frame, and then toned it down a bit with some Craft-T metallic rub-ons, and some white pigment ink. I used a Posca pen to outline the edges.
Base is some textured SU 12X12 from a few years ago, corners punched and thread added.
In the frame I used the remnants of a gel print - the deeper blue was great for some ground. Aren't these new cuties from Purple Onion irresistible? They were to me, the solid silhouette ones reminded me so much of the Moomin books. I stamped them in black (with masking, embossed with clear EP and used a white gel pen to colour in the open areas. I added a little tomato puree tube gold star for them to look at, and decorated the frame with some holly.
Sentiment is also embossed, and popped up on foam tape.

I love your beautifully framed little scene, Sabrina, you have really brought both to life! I’m yet to use my heirloom frames which I just had to have, LOL!
