New technique for me, today, answering Carla's call to use vellum. I thought I would let the Scan N Cut draw this built-in pattern snowflake with my white Pen Touch pen onto a pearly piece. I turned it over and used a stylus on foam, and a needle over a screen grid, to trace and perforate the design. I used a Spellbinder's fancy square die to cut it out. Layered it over an green vellum that was embossed with a Sizzix EF. I layered that on top of a printed vellum envelope and then all was put onto a square card. Added the pearls. I didn't really take that long and thought this could pass as a nice wedding or Christmas card.

Wow is right! The embossing and piercing are gorgeous on the vellum. Your elegant card is Truly a Vision in Vellum! Thanks for playing in my challenge, Lori.

This is gorgeous - you did an amazing job with the paper piercing and "old-fashioned" dry embossing with a stylus. The inlaid pearls add to the elegance.

Oh, brilliant work. What great use of modern technology to get the design onto your vellum, and then old-fashioned skill to bring it to life. It looks beautiful with the soft greens, and I like the added pearls.

What a beautiful vellum snowflake with wonderful embellishments and placed on a gorgeous green embellished piece of vellum. You did a great job of responding to the challenge using your Scan N Cut.

I just leaned in....to stare at this for a minute.
I am barely following what you did but it rocks! And I am loving that you did old school stylus work!!
