I made this for my hubby, but I'm feeling like a sloth today & can't visit him today.
I flipped today's sketch to fit my image. I'm not sure what color a sloth is, so I left him white. My DH - still in the skilled nursing unit - has a huge ace bandage on his leg, & it's sort of Crumb Cake colored. I made a frame using SB dies. I used MFT wonky rectangles for the base, & SU oval punch, edged with Cajun Craze. I popped up the oval.
I think he feels like a sloth too since he can't do much yet. I hope he will be home by Christmas.
Thanks for a fun sketch.
Thanks for stopping by.

I like how the one-word sentiment sums up your image so neatly! They go together so well. I hope you get your wish to have your husband home for Christmas.

Poor sloth with the broken/hurt foot. Really a darling get well card for your DH. Hope he is up and about soon. I can well imagine how you are worn out, Karen. Take care.

This sounds like the perfect card for your DH! I was just looking at this set in the catalog and thinking it would be good for a friend who has scheduled knee replacement surgery early next year. I hope your husband will be home soon. We wish him a speedy recovery.

Terrific card for your DH. So sorry to hear that he has a bandaged leg that needs to heal; I hope he'll be home soon. Sounds like the sloth image is the right one. Hope it gives him a smile. Fabulous take on the layout. I like how you turned it. The image fit the space just right. Well done. I hope the next card you make for him is welcome home!
