Challenges were red and green and glitter and shine. Totally fun challenges to combine!
A few days ago, I had noticed this dp in the magazine and was intrigued with it, thinking I should do something with it. So the challenge was perfect timing! Thank you! I dipped a paintbrush into the white ink and splattered it on. Took awhile to dry as this paper is shiny and I guess coated (not that I know that much about the properties of c.s., lol). I punched the big snowflake and used MS large glue stick to spread most areas with the glue and shook on the glitter. I put a piece of cs. over it and pressed down to make sure it stuck, also using a brayer. (Then I went to Walmart, lol, as I wanted to make sure this really did have enough drying time) Thankfully it dried. I just glued the middle of the snowflake down. Embossed the hat and added glitter to it as well. tfl

That is gorgeous paper and you certainly put it to good use here. The spatter looks great on it, and I love the position of the hat over the sort of bokeh circle. LOL at your description of going out to make sure it had enough drying time. Sometimes I push myself to start a layer before work if I know it needs time to dry. Otherwise it's too easy to move on too quickly and mess it up. That ink looks amazingly dimensional, almost like the chunky ep.

Fun and artsy! I missed seeing this when I was in your gallery yesterday...or perhaps you were waiting for it to dry! I really like the sugar-coated look you got with the glitter and the splatters. It never would have occurred to me use a glue stick, which gives a nice wide swath of glue rather than a line - tucking that idea away to try. Neat card for the red & green challenge!
