My goal today was to make a "feel better" card for my brother who just had emergency quadruple bypass surgery. He worked as a computer programmer for more than 40 years so this was my starting inspiration. After thinking on it for some time, I decided to equate his surgery to installing & upgrading a computer program . . . . . Printed out my image, colored with prismacolor pencils and fussy cut. Then designed my "install window" with this personal sentiment and framed in black to overlay on the blue screen. Added a few punched hearts for a pop of color and well . . . HEARTS . . . Since this card is for a man, I decided a stark utilitarian look was much better than overdone & fussy.
