This card is for my friend, Teri. I met her at work about 9 years ago. 2019 has been a horrid year for her. The end of June her youngest son (34) died in an atv accident. Then a month later, she had a car accident and broke her collarbone. Then she was diagnosed with Lyme Disease, which is very prevalent in Wisconsin.
So this card is for her. I did another northern lights background with the wc markers and water. Used the SU star dies from the holiday catalog and cut a bunch of them from different metallic cs. Outlined the stars with glitter pen and dotted some around the sentiment. Embossed the sentiment in silver. Green is the color of organ donation, so Curt lives on.

Jean, this is so lovely. Saying a prayer for Teri, a very hard year for her indeed. Glad that she has a friend like you for love and support, that is so important.

Beautiful Northern Lights, Jean and such a lovely starry card for your friend. Beautiful sentiment too. So sorry for all she's gone through this year....

What a perfect encouraging card for your friend. That northern lights sky is gorgeous with the gold stars! So sorry to hear of her struggles this year. Ugh--and Lyme disease to top it all off. That is the worst and of course you have it in Wisconsin--the Massachusetts of the Midwest :0)

Stars are good for sympathy and memory, I think - and for hope even in the darkness. Your sky is beautiful, and you've used the star dies in such a way that for the first time I would consider buying them. It's a beautiful card, and I'm sure she'll appreciate the care and friendship behind it.
