Color Challenge: Spruced Golden Cherry
Alphabet Challenge: Letter A - age
I used dessert option of winter birthday for a special lady having her 90th birthday this month. My daughter brought me a single red rose on Thanksgiving which made me feel very special. I thought these colors would be fabulous to give the birthday girl a rose and big golden numbers to honor her age. The stories she must have; the changes she has seen!
The rose and leaves are two-step stamping. I missed the alignment on the leaves, so I stamped off several times to create filler. The numbers are die-cut from retired Brushed Gold cardstock. A little gold & white bow on the rose stem for a finishing touch.

An amazing year to celebrate this monumental achievement. 90 years is certainly worth acknowledging.

So pretty and elegant, Diane. It is fun to see a new card using the Wild Rose stamp set as it is one of the first sets I purchased. What a great idea to cover up the alignment issue by stamping off, I like the fill look of it.
