Our recipient loves the outdoors so I went with a Northwoods stamp...colored with copics and added a bit of liquid pearls for some snow on the fence and tree. I went with the first sketch on Kristie's blog for my card...I liked the little banner on the top and I thought that tree brad was made to go with the banner and the outdoor scene. Come join us for the Teaparty and make someone's day.

Perfect for her, since she lives in the beautiful state of Washington. I really like what you said 'she will live with cancer the rest of her life.' In truth, even if your cancer is in remission or 'cured', you live with it the rest of your life. The possibility of recurrence is always there and one lives with the effects of the treatments. Thanks for this challenge, Pol. Your card is frame worthy...well, all of yours are.

Love that pretty scene and the sketch you picked, Polly. The tree charm is such a perfect touch. Great Winter card, and I know she will love it. Hugz

Oh yay, I'm so glad you used this sketch. It was the first one I bookmarked and saved, but I couldn't fit my little knitting sheep into it. I really like it, and you've made a super-sweet card with it. I love the cosy feel of the plaid contrasting with the winter scene.
