I learned this delightful technique from Dina's Falliday challenge and am addicted to making them. This is my 12th one which was inspired by: https://i.pinimg.com/236x/9b/95/d1/9...8b6fb9fe73.jpg This started off as a hot pink bauble. I sprayed the round doily with a temporary adhesive spray and wrapped around the ornament. Painted it with white gesso. When dry I painted on the blue. Used a heat gun and then added the copper. Sprayed and dunked the top of the doily with Ranger Espresso Colorwash, which was diluted with water. Tied the bauble with a denim and eggplant color washed vintage rayon hem tape and tied on the starfish with a hemp cord. So fun!!!
