This is for Polly's Black FridayMix challenge. It took me three tries to mostly stick to the black/white color scheme. I did sneak some red corners in with the red sentiment ;)
Stamped the Christmas verse bg and coated with gesso. Stamped Santa's face and wonder of wonders, I did not color it. It took every bit of willpower to leave it alone!! Die cut Dear Santa twice and stacked over the Santa face. Added snow pen and puffed for trim on Santa's hat. Punched photo corners to match the sentiment and layered it on a black card base. TFL

What a wonderful image that is! Santa looks so impish (and considering he is supposed to be an old elf that's appropriate!) Love how you did the corners. This is a super card!

That is really a cute Santa image and the puffed bit of hat is fun. I like how you toned done the bg stamping with the gesso...good idea. Thanks for playing along in my "challenging" black and white challenge..;)

It WAS really hard sticking to the black and white and remembering the mixed media, wasn't it. I have two stencilled pieces which will need colour to bring them to live. But the B&W is perfect for your vintage Santa and I like the little punched-out stars.
