I'm pretty sure this is the same die Ann used on her card, but I used the rubber embossing mat to get the texture, and to stencil in the colors.
Double background challenge for November Misti Monday:
On copper cs, covered surface with Versamark, then sprinkled verdigris powder, then copper powder onto panel. Heat embossed. Layered panel to gold base. Die cut another piece of copper cs, then used the rubber mat to get the raised design. With the piece still in the die, using the die as a stencil, colored the raised images with 3 coordinating colors of Smooch inks. Popped the die cut out and glued to the heat embossed panel. Added a strip of copper cs with narrow copper ribbon on it, then added tiny gold sentiment "life is good".
So, the first background has 2 colors of embossing powder, then the card cover die is embossed for depth, and stenciled for contrast.
It's a different look than I usually do, thanks, Misti!
