Chris is our hostess in the Color Challenge this week, and she has given us some beautiful, rich colors to play with: Pretty Peacock, Lovely Lipstick, and Crushed Curry. The dessert option is to add Pumpkin Pie as a fourth color. I always like to try for dessert; and any time I get four colors, my thoughts turn to my Concord & 9th Turnabout stamps. These stamps are so much fun, because with a little stamping and rotating, you get a custom-made DS background!
I needed one last card of Thanksgiving this year, still timely because I plan to hand deliver it on Thursday. I used the Stitched Turnabout stamp set for my background, then stamped and die-cut the heart, border and "Thanks." I decorated the greeting with dots from my white gel pen and added a few sequins for a little sparkle. It's all mounted on a Pretty Peacock card base.
On a personal note, I am so happy to be back with the Color Challenge team this week. A month ago, I had surgery for a total knee replacement. Rehab has been a different kind of challenge, and not nearly as much fun as playing in my craft room! I am so happy to be back!
Thanks for stopping by, and please play along with us this week. And Happy Thanksgiving to everyone!

Nice to have you back! I hope your new knee is working wonderfully! This card is just amazing!! I have not gotten any of the C9 turnabouts, because I figured I wouldn't stop
But this might change my mind. I really love how the colors just morph into each other!

Glad you are back, and your knee surgery is over. I know it takes awhile with pt to get back to normal. Love your card today with all the colors. Reminds me of a embroidered sampler. TFS
