This is my card for CC767. Chris is our hostess and she chose pretty peacock, lovely lipstick and crushed curry for her color trio. Dessert Option is pumpkin pie.
Well, I thought I would give it a shot at making a Thanksgiving card with these colors. Fortunately, I don't have to mail this card because it's going to my next door neighbor. I will take it over tomorrow with a box of chocolates. I have been seeing these Merci chocolates advertised on the Hallmark channel so I went in search of them. Needless to say she likes chocolates.
So back to my card. I had this older Stampin'-Up Paper Pumpkin kit "Layers of Gratitude" and I used elements from it. The accordion card base came in the kit and instead of stamping each panel I used designer paper.
The papers are from the Stampin Up "come to gather" and "perfectly artistic" collections. I also embossed crushed curry cardstock with the Stampin Up Boho Chic embossing folder on 2 of the panels.
The felt thanks letters came in the kit and they work for the dessert option. The first panel is stamped with a sentiment that came as part of the kit. The last panel is stamped with a sentiment from the August Paper pumpkin kit the gift of fall.
Well, that's my sample for this week. Looking forward to seeing what you all create with these pretty colors. Check out the other DT samples to spark some other ideas.

Terrific card to go to your neighbor with the Merci Chocolates (which I love almost as much as choc. covered cherries!) Using today's colors for this accordian card worked so well, Mary! Fab card.

Mary, what a clever idea for an accordion card, and a way to tell your neighbor how much you appreciate her! I love that you use all those pretty papers as background for the felt letters. Love the beginning and ending sentiments, too!
