Iâve combined my final Falliday Fest challenge (Jeanâs challenge to create a New Year card that isnât Christmasy) with todayâs tone on tone stenciling technique challenge. I took this stamp out of its drawer and thought it would be the only time I ever use it. I was totally going to put it in my âGoing awayâ box, but then I realized I could make her into Raggedy Ann. Plus, itâs good to have at least one angel stamp in case I run into that as a challenge. So, Iâll keep her. My best New Year stamp was an inside one. Itâs a sentiment from Moâs that says â...this New Year and every year.â So I paired it with this âpeace love joyâ sentiment from Unity. Also, how awesome is this stencil that I bought from the nationâs oldest art supply store in Worcester. I just love it and you will be seeing a lot of it in the future!

She reminds me rather of a knitted doll our nextdoor neighbour gave me when I was little. It's always a good idea to have an angel in your stash. The backgrounds are both beautiful.

that stencil has me drooling.....and you are so creative to make an angel into Raggedy Ann. Hope the angel isn't offended. You get a lot of use out of your 'stuff.' Thanks for playing in my challenge.
