I ended up with another card for Misti's Winter Birds VSN Mini challenge because when I was looking for winter birds, I came across this digi that was just begging to finally be used. Look at the eyes on that sweet little owlet. I can't stand it. I thought this was a really fun image for my friend's 13 year old daughter. What 13 year old girl doesn't like owls? I was a little nervous about these Christmasy colors for a birthday card, but I made it work. The background might be a little off for the colors, but I thought it was pretty close and pretty neat for this card. I dug it out of my background leftovers. It was a rough plaid that I painted one day when me and Desmond were playing with paints. Desmond has actually inspired a lot of cool backgrounds while I was playing around with him in my craft room.

I really love this, Jenn. Owls have always fascinated them so great choice there. The other outstanding element is that mega-cool, modern background. Wowee, it's super cool.
