This week we are sending thank you messages to Andrew in Florida for his act of kindness in paying the lunch debt for nine schools.
I have several 'thank you' stamps, but they all felt a bit girly, so I went with a "thank you" sentiment from a Unity Stamp set.
I bought this die and several others at a garage sale ages ago and haven't used any yet so I thought I would use some DP that hasn't seen the light of day in forever!
This should have been the quickest card I've ever made. It started out 5"x 7", looked weird so I lopped an inch off the top, then it looked really odd, so I added an awning. Now it looked like an odd sized card with an awning.
I have a stash of coloured card bases....now this is back to a 5"x 7"card and it's going in the mail before I change my mind again LOL.
Thanks for looking and I hope you have a happy, inky week.

Oh Susie you made me laugh reading your steps to make this beauty, I love this card, it isn't odd at all not in size not in any way, this looks like it was born to be put together...it's a perfect mariage between paper and silhouette and the sentiment fits perfectly too, I'm glad you've posted it and didn't change anything!!

That saying was meant to go with the jazzy silhouette! This is just the coolest! He's going to be blown away...I wonder if he's a jazz fan. I love this...great bg with all the shutters.

Awesome! The sentiment is perfect. Love that paper with the jazz musician silhouette. Your doodled frame is excellent. Wow, the canopy with everything else made me think of New Orleans. Fabulous card!
