You know that watercolor is not my thing, but I wanted to try it because of today's inspiration site. So I chose something simple in the flowers on the cover of this book. I masked and watercolored a circle background because there were so many circles on the site. Then I stamped and watercolored the flowers. Stamped the sentiment and added Stickles and some black dots and lines because it seemed to plain. Then I added the butterfly to match the picture. Not sure it really matches, but it does add some interest and dimension.
Absolutely stunning! I am so excited you took the challenge and watercolored even though it's not your favorite thing! From this, I would never guess it isn't a favorite medium. You did an amazing job! This is gorgeous!
