Somewhat less successful than my first attempts at the Acrylic Stencil Deboss. I stamped the text over it to try to jazz it up a bit.
The image is one that DH bought me in a thrift store when he was in the States in August. I was very impressed - he texted me to ask if I had an image of a cat with a camera, and a bird perched on his head. Well, I did, but I didn't see his text in time and he bought it anyway, along with this one. I did have the cat, so the one he got me has already gone to a good home ;-). I wanted to use this one, so it's just simple stamping and colouring with SN clear glitter on the puddle. Sponged with grey ink while in the die. I couldn't think how to turn it into a card, but as the colours went with my stencil background, I paired the two of them, and added some ribbon and real buttons - originally I'd thought of cutting paper ones, and then I thought hang the expense, I'll use real ones and stick an extra stamp on.
There's always hope that my background will turn out better next time - I loved the technique and results the first couple of times I tried it. And it's also the sentiment inside, on vellum with purple photo corners to hold it in, which I thought went with the rainy day outside.
