This is for my challenge: make a New Year card, no Christmas images.
I love real vintage ephemera; I don't think the reproductions ever look as good. I like the tears, rough edges, water stains, everything. I bought this postcard online and mounted it on some beautiful backgrounds with brown satin MS photo corners and papers and added a bunch of ribbons and twines.

I totally agree with you. My neighbor recently parted with a stash of her relatives stuff...I was happy to lighten her load. This is a beautiful card. Ethereal!

Spectacular! Love that vintage postcard, but most of all I love the combo of fibers that you used on the top and the rich gold on the embossed background.
