My Falliday challenge is to illustrate a holiday tradition. As a child I have wonderful memories of baking cookies and decorating them for the holidays. I have continued that with my sister and nieces and other young ones in our family. Everyone looks forward to their favorites and baking together brings us together....another reason to look forward to the annual tradition.

Oh yes I love the Christmas dinners too and love all the preparing, the shopping, baking etc, but In Holland when I was a child Christmas was without Santa because we celebrate St Nicolas and we got presents the 5th December. You see what your card is doing, bringing back sweet memories!! thank you Polly

My Mom would do some baking but our kitchen was minuscule and she couldn't stand to have another person in it. My Mom wasn't big on traditions, but she was an excellent cook and baker. I miss her pie. Such cute elements on your card.

What a darling scene and oh so true in our house! Now I make decorated cookies for the grandchildren and my grown children!
Rumor has it that my son does most of the eating of the cookies! I hope this tradition is carried on to the next generation.
