Carla is our hostess for the WTUI challenge this week, and you can find her fun theme HERE.
It was the perfect opportunity for me to pull out this sweet set from The Cats Pajamas. I used a slightly different and easier version of the Magic Card than the tutorial here (not that it's complicated, I've done it many times, and along with waterfall cards and triangle trifolds, it was one of my early learns here). Mine has the frame stuck to the stamped acetate panel along all four sides, and then to the coloured layer along only the sides and bottom. The slightly smaller plain white panel just slides freely in and out.
I coloured the bear with pencils. The sentiment is from the same set - I cut it with a Spellbinders label die, edged it with a black Sharpie, sprinkled it with chunky gold EP and popped it up on foam tape.
I stamped the stars only on the coloured layer, not on the acetate.

Sabrina, this turned out so well! The gold stars on the colored panel are a cute touch of magic with your honey bear. Thanks for a marvelous challenge sample.

Great image and super pencil coloring. I will have to try the magic card keeping the image in place and just moving the white sheet. It is always fun to give a magic card to someone. I love the tutorial and love making the card. Terrific job on your magic card Sabrina.
