As a little kid, I loved jumping in piles of leaves, and the wonderful smell of them burning. I no longer jump (at all!) and we have to bag our leaves. That fabulous smell is only a memory now!

I love the way you have captured the memories (and leaves) in your jar - this is one of those cards that makes me smile. I liked the smell of burning leaves, too.

What a lovely card! I too, remember jumping in all the leaves as it was so much fun! But then the four of us would have to rake all the leaves again before my dad got home. That wasn’t any fun but i am glad you brought up memories, Anne!

Fun card Anne with that jar full of leaves! I loved jumping in the autumn leaves and the smell of burning leaves each fall...but didn't love the raking part as a child! LOL

Autumn in a jar -- what a fun idea.
I loved jumping in leaves so much that my freshman year in college I located a tool shed on campus and took out a rake so I could jump in a pile of leaves on the quad. (I think my roommates thought I was nuts.)
