| | Today's technique challenge was to make die cuts from layers of white paper napkins then watercolor and gild them.
I tried 4 different brands of napkins and a variety of dies with less than stellar results. These blooms held together the best, though there is still quite a lot of separation of layers.
Stamped the unity sentiment on my DP and embossed with snow White powder. Then arrange my die cut napkin flowers to frame it and adhered with Alene's tacky glue.
There is a lot of sparkle & shine from the gold gilding IRL but alas the camera didn't pick it up . . . |
