I don't think my napkins worked really well for this technique. Or maybe I used too many layers (although I tried to follow the video). But my leaves are peeling apart. Also they are polka dotted because that's the texture of my napkins. But it's still a neat fall scene for my sister-in-law's birthday card. She has recently gotten really into biking, so I had to make her a bike card. Inside say "Wishing you a day filled with all the things you love." This is also combined with the Challenge Your Stash challenge for this month. Vickie challenged us to use fall colors to make a fall card.

I think your leaves look beautiful, Jen. I tell ya, even after all my hunting for napkins, the ones I did end up with have a slightly textured border all round, so I was glad I'd got the large dinner size. Super shading on your leaves, and I think the dotted texture looks like raindrops, really cool.

It sounds like you had the same problems I did, Jenn - lots of flaking away of layers for me too - Still the leaves you've layered here look lovely and frame your card quite nicely.
