I was inspired by Karen's Christmas Blessings card. I used a smooshed wastercolor BG I'd made, in place of the DSP and used berry sprays instead of a wreath. The BG panel was die cut with the Mix and Mat--Berry Boughs die, then a panel of vellum cardstock die cut and placed over the center, to help distinguish the berry sprays. The berries were die cut, stamped and placed in the corner and a sentiment panel was popped up with foam tape. Here's Karen's card.

Love your Christmas card using some older PTI dies and stamps, Sue. The smooshed bg turned out so well and makes a lovely backdrop for your berry spray. It was a brilliant idea to use the vellum to soften the look in the center.

This is amazing! I love the pretty background die and the vellum overlay is a genius idea. Your smooshed background is beautiful. I am so impressed with this beauty.

Beautiful watercolored background and I love the vellum layer, Sue. It adds a wonderful texture and has a softening effect to your design. TFS Hugs...Nancy
