I'll have to give you a hand, Toni, for today's Ways to Use It challenge! You inspired me to use tracings of boy hands. I've got two to start...and does it everah
measure how time flies!
I have a file folder of my sons' hands through the years...to say I am tender hearted seeing them is an understatement. But now I have a scrapbook page...and one day...hopefully, will be their childrens' hands overlaying theirs.
The dp is from a long retired Cosmo Cricket paper group 'Get Happy'. I used the striped paper to cut out repeating layers of color for &d's 16 year old hand. I used acetate for his 2 year old hand stamping his name on the fingers and laid it over the larger hand. OH BOY! strip is also from the 'Get Happy' paper.
Over it all, the pocket watch with wings tells the story, really for all of us...TIME flies and we better cherish each moment! Thanks so much for stopping by...I'd love to hear what moment you've captured recently with your loved ones.

What a great layout, Susan. Must have brought back precious memories as you put this together with your file of hands. I like the sheer overlay with the striped hand, which can't help but remind me of knit gloves.

Love your card, Susan! And time does fly so fast! Enjoy the kids now as soon they will be on their own!
Love that you kept this up every year. I have scrapbooks for my two kids. My son’s book is through college but my daughter’s is not as she informed me she had no room for it....
Now she has a home, and I really don’t want to continue her books. My son ,over his five albums! He loves them!

I guess I am tenderhearted, too...I love this and it's so wonderful that you are actually using some of the "paper" things we keep and cherish and making some art from them..and creating a new memory. Love that CC paper...they had such colorful papers. This is just the coolest..

Your card reminds me.......with my first, I made a quilt of things he could recognize by the shape when he was two. One of the things was the outline of his hand. He took the quilt to college, and to his own home. Now that he's going to be 55 in JAnuary, I'm sure he sees a BIG difference! Your card is wonderful...and so thought provoking. Favd.

Awww! Your card brings tears to my eyes! It's so sweet! And now I NEED to trace my boys' hands when they get home from school. We are each making scrapbooks right now, so I must make sure they incorporate their hands in there. Desmond's is so cute with his 1st grade handwriting. Ack! I can't stand it!
