Pat is hosting a very special teaparty this week for JoEllyn. JoEllyn is on the waiting list for a kidney transplant and she is a church friend of our very own Teapotter Jan, aka Precious Kitty.
I was stressing because I couldn't remember the brand of the border die (I don't keep packaging), then I said to myself, self if they can't bother to mark their products with a brand, why should I!!!
The cups and flowers were printed on copy paper, coloured with Prismacolour pencils, Zest it pencil blend and highlighted with Copics and a touch of Jane Davenport liquid ink.
I die cut the front and the back of the card, because I wasn't too sure how this would work out I made a sample first and I'm happy to say I ended up with two cards.
Thank you for looking and I hope you get a chance to join in....and perhaps have a conversation with loved ones about organ donation.

A stunning pair of cards - with such a lovely colour combination on the cups. The white card frames them nicely. I had to laugh about you not knowing who made the die. I am in the same boat - always saying to myself that I will remember who makes them - no need to keep the packaging - ha!

Simply lovely - the cups look like they're on a lace doily. I have a similar stamp and die that I am going to try this with - thank you for the inspiration!

Kittie, this is BEAUTIFUL!!!! LOVE that lacey edge & your BEAUTIFULLY colored Tea Cups! I KNOW it will be TREASURED by JoEllyn!!! Yeah, I agree with you, if they can't mark their packages..... LOL SOOO NICE you have TWO of these now too! ;)<3
What beautiful cards, Susie! I am loving the unbranded die! LOL. This is such a cheerful, lacy floral card for JoEllyn, with those fun turquoise tea cups! Happy day! We both have the “organ donor” on our driver’s licenses.

Oh, how gorgeous Susie! There really is something truly heartwarming about drinking a warm beverage from a gorgeous cup and having flowers on the table with a beautiful white tablecloth to boot, and you have captured that oh-so beautifully in this set of cards. I cannot get over the coloring you achieve using copy paper Susie. It just boggles my mind- in a good way of course. Yes, we are big supporters of organ donation too. ~Karen.

A slightly different style for you but just as gorgeous. Like you I ditch packaging and often get stuck when someone wants to know the make - stamps too!
