Mary has chosen our colours for this weeks Colour Challenge CC762. Merry Merlot, Cajun Craze, Daffodil Delight and the desert option is - Thanksgiving or Fall. I have chosen the Fall theme.. I used the closest colours that I had for the colour challenge.
I masked off the rolling hills and stamped on the trees. Next I used the eraser on a pencil - and dabbed it into the various inks to create the fall coloured leaves. I used my aqua painter to make the grey sky. Coloured in the hills. I stamped only a portion of the Fall Commuters HM stamp. coloured it with copic markers and Stampin up markers. Cut out the image. Added a little sparkle to the leaf veins with the Sakura gel pen. Matted the image panel with burgundy and rust cardstock. Sewed around the edges. Popped up the little floating mouse/leaf image. Used the stamporatus for the sentiment placement. Stamped four times to get it nice and dark. Finished the inside of the card.
This also works for the Fan Club theme - On a Roll. I created these lovely rolling hills and the leaves roll/blow in the wind and the thread comes on a spool/roll.
I hope you will come and play along with us.
Hugs.. Pat

Great Fall scene you've created, Pat, with the little House Mouse and leaf getting blown down the road! The gray sky plus the leaves on the bushes give the perfect Fall feel to your scene. Very cute!

Such a fun card with the mouse blowing away with the leaf! Your stitching adds a lot, Pat!
