This is my card for CC762. I am your hostess this week and I have chosen merry merlot, cajun craze and daffodil delight for my color trio. Dessert Option this week is Fall or Thanksgiving.
For my sample, I turned to the Stampin'-Up "come to gather" designer paper and created a Thanksgiving card. The layout is one that I saw on Ann Schachs blog and I used it for my card.
The stitched leaves are a die from CottageCutz, and I sponged with Cajun craze and daffodil delight inks for some color variation. Used the gorgeous grunge stamp set and stamped some ink scatters on the larger circle.
The card base is daffodil delight and I sponged the edges with cajun craze and daffodil delight inks to tone the yellow down a bit.
I scattered a few Cajun craze enamel dots and tied a small bow with Cajun craze linen thread to complete my card.
Hope you can play along this week. I canât wait to see what you create with these rich fall colors.

Mary, the stitched leaves are so sweet with their color variations! I love the layout and the choice of papers. The enamel dots, splatters and twine are perfect finishing touches. Lovely Thanksgiving card!

I love your contrast of all these warm and rich colors against the cooler weathered wood. I would never have thought to try that and it is such a lovely and effective look. I was a little hesitant about the Daffodil at first, but this is really going to be a lovely gallery this week. Awesome choices!
