Mary has a gorgeous color combination for us this week: Merry Merlot + Cajun Craze + Daffodil Delight with Thanksgiving or Fall for dessert.
I started by stamping my Buffalo Check stamp on Cajun Craze and then sat down to play with some leaves and my Blends markers.
When I started to pull these together on a card, I also picked up piece of Crumb Cake that I had stenciled this leaf like pattern with a Golden Glitz Delicata ink pad. Thinking it might work with the other elements I carefully replaced the stencil and used a sponge dauber to add a touch of Merlot at the base of each"leaf".
A piece of Gold Shimmer ribbon helps to pull it all together.
I sure hope you will play along with these colors.

Oh, my goodness, Chris, this card is amazing! I love the stenciled gold and merlot background, and what a lovely job you did blending the colors on the leaf. Just beautiful!

I really like how you matched up the casual Buffalo Check with the more formal pattern in gold on Crumb Cake, it goes together so well Chris! The lovely leaf tied with the gold ribbon just adds to the touch of glamor. Gorgeous!
