Cathy is our hostess for the WTUI challenge this week - you'll find her great challenge HERE. I had plenty of possibilities to run with - this is what I ended up with.
I stamped Duke on white card and masked him. I stamped in the fence from the Kittie Kits, and then to keep it white, I applied Microglaze as a resist mask, using a tortillon. Then I stamped the bushes and the grasses. I sponged in the earth and used Shore Thing to stamp some dirt. Duke was coloured with Polychromos, and while his scarf might look uncoloured in the photo, it's sort of light grey and white stripes IRL. I tried the sentiment on this as it was, but along with DH, agreed it was too stark - so I used a scalloped die-cut to sponge in the sky, and the sun from I can't remember which set. With colour in the sky, the sentiment now looked fine, so I popped it up on foam. Matted the panel on black, and added it to a card base covered with DP. Sorry I can't remember - it was a gift, and I'm more likely to remember paper that I bought myself ;-).

Very cute scene, Sabrina! Duke is adorable and so beautifully colored. Your speech bubble sentiment really pops against your sponged sky! Beautiful sample...just saying!
This is so cute! What a fun speech bubble! Duke is quite eye-catching! I popped over here to check out your card after reading your comment on Challenge Chat.

Awesome scene! Duke is terrific. So many wonderful details. The speech bubble stands out nicely to be noticed but is not distracting. I enjoyed reading how you created this card. Love it all.
