First of all, my heart goes out to Rhys. How awful! I have an old friend who has always had a skin condition, not blisters as far I remember but kind of like his whole body is covered in dry, crusty whatever. Awful. This sounds more awful.
Is this card too cute or glittery for a 14 year old boy? I usually don't worry too much about that, but don't want him to feel weird with the heart shape pumpkin and the glitter paste. I have some regular Jack o Lantern art parts I could use and I could also use something other than the glitter paste. I did this card because I already had the glitter paste on and dry.
Joggles came out with this watercolor art parts last year. I can't remember if this came out for Halloween or for Valentine's Day, for those of us who don't like Valentine's Day. I stenciled it with the glitter paste, let it dry, spritzed with water and sprinkled on yellow, orange and red Brushos. Added more water to get them to flow. The background is an alcohol ink experiment with blowing the inks with a hair dryer. There is some Alcohol Pearls too.

I'd send this - I think it's great, Jean, totally suitable for a teen boy. The texture is fab, and if it is glittery, well, Halloween is all about the candy ;-). That has a really sugary look.

Jean, your Halloween experimenting card came out fantastic! I'm sure Rhys will love it too! Superb and that Jack-o-lantern is spooky looking with those sinister eyes!

I think the face on that pumpkin heart more than makes up for the fact that it is heart shaped. I also think the texture of the glitter paste makes it so fun. Fabulous card, Jean!
