Chris is our colour hostess this week. She has chosen Seaside Spray, Night of Navy, Rich Razzleberry for the colours, plus the dessert option is heat embossing. Here is my card for this weeks colour challenge. I stamped the Hedgehogs with memento black ink onto kraft panel. Water coloured the image with Whisper White ink. Then coloured over different parts of the image with the different colours. I scored the kraft panel to make the background look like bricks, then went over the raised areas with crumb cake to give it more definition. I made the top v shaped panel. Started with white card stock. Coloured it with the light blue (similar to seaside spray), then drew in the various lines using Rich Razzleberry and Night of Navy and a white gel pen. I coloured in the area under the Hedgehogs with the light blue - it looks more grey in colour. Stamped the sentiment with Rich Razzleberry and then clear embossed the sentiment (using heat gun). Cut the sentiment into sections. Edge the pieces with gold metallic marker. Popped up the sentiment. Matted the image with Rich Razzleberry and Kraft.
Finished the inside of the card.
This works for the Fan Club theme - New Kid on the Block. My card is a square card, I used a wooden Stamp and I make the brick - block background.
I hope you come and play along with us.
Hugs..Pat
