This was designed as a sympathy card, though I ended up not including any sentiment on the front. I was trying Dina's acrylic deboss technique but it was a bit of a fail for some reason, so I took the Feathered stencil and stencilled it with gesso. I added the silver glitter dreamcatcher, and then decided to add the music border at the top - it's cut from the edge of a gel print. The feathers are cut from white card, then sponged with wilted violet and peacock feather distress inks, then I stamped the music over. I used Stickles to draw lines from the catcher down to the feathers, and popped the bottom of each feather up on foam dots.
I edged the panel with a black Sharpie, and then sprinkled some Metallic Seasonings chunky EP over it and heated.
The little butterflies were cut from the same scrap as the music border. I edged them with a gold gel pen, and created little antennae from wire.

Your fails always turn into such lovely masterpieces, Sabrina. I especially like the feathers on this gorgeous dream catcher. Pairing the music with the dream catcher is a nice combo. This was perfect to wake up to.....last night I went with my younger son to see Bob Dylan perform at the University of California that Brad goes to......students got tickets for $35. Dream catchers and musical notes fit my mood today.

WOW! what an evolution...love the silver dreamcatcher against the muted golden yellow patterned background. The deep and vivid blue in your musical notes border and sweet butterflies edge in gold just tie this color combination to perfection. Love the little wired antennae and the sponged musical feathers additions as well. As Francie said, a "masterpiece" of colors and elements.
