Sugar skulls and weddings are ancient but they don't usually go together. At first glance this card may look shocking and for those who know me, not at all my style. But it's one of the funnest cards I have ever made because it was for the non traditional wedding of my daughter's best friend. Her wedding was elegant, gorgeous and unforgettable and she was absolutely stunning in black lace. Check out some deets of my card and the wedding decor on my blog: pinkpanoply.blogspot.com.

What an interesting card. I'm sure the wedding was fab with her in a black lace dress!

A very different card, but I like it. I like the skeleton bling. The newlyweds, I am sure, got a kick out of it. I can see how it was a fun card to make.

I think your card is FANTASTIC! Love the skull which looks like some of the elaborate "Day of Dead" motifs. Beautifully done and I'm sure the bride and groom were thrilled with it.

Love the direction you took - and the sugar skull is quite striking! My niece is OBSESSED with skuills - one year I made her a Christmas card on it Great job!
