For the "I" Alpha challenge. I used Icicles Stickles on the red poinsettias. I blobbed out the Stickles and diluted a bit with water and used a paintbrush to brush it on the flowers and set them aside to dry. Oddly enough the Icicle Stickles shows gold when painted on red c.s. Who knew? So that determined using the gold glitter paper.
I had bits and bobs leftover from another project and glued them to the 3 tops of the lampost. Yes, I save everything!
I had my flowers on and decided the next day that leaves would be nice and diecut the leaves from the Swirly Scribbles and glued them in.
The yellow centers are diecut from the neenah paper and colored with a yellow copic. Gave up trying to get a good picture of this card, though. The real red c.s. flowers look better irl.

What a truly gorgeous card this is with a fantastic sentiment! I adore this lamppost with the little gold embellishments on top of each lamp- that is such a terrific touch! These poinsettia's are true showstoppers Shirl, especially with these sparkly gold leaves. This is such a WOW card my friend and quite impressive (another I) for the letter I alphabet challenge. ~Karen.
