Combining the Tea Party for Traci brought to us by Polly and the Color challenge courtesy of Barbara. I scanned the cat shape from a Dover book and cut it out from a mixed media piece. Started with a clear heat embossing of small swirls stamped all over the cream colored CS Then brayered on some blue acrylic paint and then then dipped it into the citrus and berry Oxides. Added a larger swirl in the green and embossed again. I randomly used this washi tape to secure my art paper onto the cutting mat and realized it was just what I need to incorporate into the design. Cool when that happens! Swirled the lime BG paper with a Sizzix EF. Added a collar with the word strong. Using the Xyron to attach. Mounted all on a light blue CS. This was fun and relatively quick today.

What a sweet cat, and all that design that went into it looks super with the swirls, embossing and colour. I especially like the STRONG collar. It looks like a very huggable, cosy cat.
