Polly is the hostess for this week's Teapot Tuesday challenge, and you can find out why we are sending our cards to Traci in the challenge posted HERE.
I had to tell myself to stay positive when, after creating the entire background, I mis-stamped the cat to add definition back in, and had to start all over again. Stamped and masked the cat. Sponged in the background. Masked the grass and added the bokeh dots. Coloured the cat with Polychromos pencils. I added some glittery clouds and a little sunshine, matted it on yellow and added it to a white base. Finished the grass off with some flower sequins.

Sorry this was sort of frustrating to make...it sure turned out cute though. I love your bokeh sky and that sun peeking out from the glittery clouds. Just darling...

The card is beautiful I'm sorry it gave you some troubles...why not stamping the cat on a left over cut it out and glue over the mis stamped one? but of course I didn't see the mis stamped one...I love your fun sun peeping out that means there's always sun shine after a cloudy day, so never give up!!

I do stuff like this all the time Sabrina, hence my love for fussy cut images, oh and dotty trees, they cover a gazillion oops a daisies. Everything you create makes my heart smile Sabrina. Traci is sure to love this to bit.

This is so darned cute Sabrina. I love how the sun is peeking out through the clouds and all these little tiny butterflies flitting around these little tiny flowers is so inspiring and gives a feeling of hope to this card. Your kitty cat is just adorable and I love the message too. I have to say though, that my heart sank into my stomach when I read you had to start over with this background Sabrina. I think we have all been there and it is not fun at all. Bless you for sticking with this and making such a fabulous card to send to Traci. Getting a card from someone in another country truly is meaningful. ~Karen.

Oh Sabrina I'm so sorry you had to remake the card after miss stamping the poor yitty but it did turn out super cute and Traci will definitely love your efforts on this super technique for the bokeh in the sky.
