and it reminded me of a stencil that was nearby and decided to try Polly's MIX349 challenge again since all the supplies were still on the table. I scraped fiber paste through the stencil with a credit card and dried it. I painted on masking fluid to protect the bg and dried it. Then spritzed the motif with water and sprinkled on Brusho in 2 shades of brown. Rubbed off the dried fluid and painted the bg. Added Distress crayons and metallic Gelatos for more contrasting interest. Stamped and embossed the word peace and added bling. Mounted on black chalkboard cs. I haven't stenciled very much so this is a new technique that I really like.

Masking fluid! I wondered how you had protected the background so well, as even with Frisket sheets I've always had bleed. Interesting to read that it's distress crayons, I thought it looked like paint. Your medallion is beautiful.
