I chose this image. I needed to make a birthday card for a friend who loves gardening and this image inspired me to get out my stamp of wildflowers that is quite similar to the flowers in the foreground of my inspiration image.
I stamped the image in black archival ink on watercolour paper and watercoloured the poppies in red (my friend loves red and dislikes pink so I changed the colour from the inspiration image). I trimmed the panel and added strips of red cs to the two ends so that it would be perfectly centred on the cream card base. I popped it up on fun foam for some dimension and added a drop of black enamel to the centre of each poppy.

what a lovely image you chose to be inspired by - and what a lovely card you created! So pretty with the red poppies among the other silhouette black stampings Susan!
