A few weeks ago, hubby and I traveled to Elgin, AL to see the historical marker for the Jessie James Gang Canal Robbery.
I used the color challenge this week to color up my 1881 coin and bills. This also fits Robins F4A502 challenge - The Little Things. Little things that make life fun:
*Old Family Memories - we had a family story that Jessie James stayed with one of my Great Greats - turns out the story probably isn't true, but it was sure told a lot when I was little.
*Daytrips with hubby visiting historical markers - we are having fun.
*Stickles - I am still delighted by them - lol.
Thanks for looking!
Hugz

What a cool memory. Love the feel of old west in the color and style of your page.
My parents lived in Northfield MN for a number of years where they have a Defeat of Jesse James reenactment annually. It use to be quite the deal...I wish I had been into scrapping/picture taking when I was there during the reenactment!

What fabulous day trips you are taking but Nancy, I asked you to take me along next time! So disappointed!! LOL!
Seriously, I love these pages you are doing of your trips, what a fun idea!! Love the souvenirs you get to help your story along too! Now you make me wish I would have done some myself of the last trip we took a couple years ago to Idaho/Montana...We saw a lot of Lewis and Clark places and markers too...so many souvenirs too, dang! I should have thought!!
Well, anyway, love your Jesse James page! Thanks for playing!

You are so creative, Nancy. I love seeing your work and how you thought up what you created. This is wonderful. How fun to visit historical markers with your DH.

Nancy, your Jesse James page turned out fantastic! Sounds like you and your hubby are having a lot of fun! It is fun to visit places from the past! We have a Gene Autry museum not to far from us.
Wonderful page and memories!

Nancy I can totally see you being related to Jesse James - obviously not the bank robber bit, but his sense of adventure and always coming up with a plan. I am loving all these pages - so where too next my friend. Hugz.
